The Cyprus Shipping Association (CSA) has today 60 Shipping Agents as Members of whom 47 are Full Members and 13 Associate Members.

In Cyprus the Shipping Agent has a dual role, the major role being looking after the interests of his Shipowners both in the vessels operation as well as in marketing for cargo. The second important role of the Cyprus Shipping Agent towards his Principals is to act as a Master Stevedore for the loading and discharging of vessels.
